Late Season Ice Climbing!

The late season ice climbing really doesnt get much better then a 20 minute approach and 2 pitches of ice on the elusive Desperate For Lovin!

Kenny and I got out a couple weeks ago and it was a gorgeous day to get on the ice before work. Living so close to the valley its nice to be able to take a quick morning drive and jump on a route that is very rarely in and especially with a nice short hike. We were psyched and back at work by 11. You gotta love living in Cody!

Kenny on the 2nd Pitch putting in a screw with his belayer (not belaying) taking photos!

Getting into the mixed fun!

Warm temps and sinker steep ice, life is good!

Kenny gettin after it!

Kenny says its bomber but somehow I have to go first, urgh .............thanks Kenny.

A great day on the ice,
